2024-2025 Sister School Scheme Shaoguan Study Tour

2024-2025 Sister School Scheme Shaoguan Study Tour was successfully completed from April 13 to 16. Over 60 participants, including Principal Cheung, teachers, and students from Form 1 to Form 5, participated in the event. Through their visit to Shaoguan No. 1 Middle School, the teachers and students enhanced their understanding and communication with the sister school, strengthened cultural exchange between the two regions, deepened their knowledge of Mainland China, and fostered a stronger sense of national identity. 

Additionally, the students visited famous attractions in Shaoguan, such as Danxia Mountain, Zhuji Ancient Alley, and a local enterprise, the Colorful Shaogang Industrial Culture Park. These activities provided the students with a preliminary understanding of local environmental conservation and industrial development. Lastly, the students visited the Shaoguan Catholic Infant Jesus Church and met with the nuns. They learned about the history of The Sisters Announcers of the Lord, the life of Bishop Louis Versiglia, and the local religious practices. 

Through this study tour, the students broadened their horizons, deepened their knowledge of the country’s culture and development, and gained an understanding of the history of the sponsoring body of Tak Nga Secondary School. This experience enhanced their sense of national identity and sense of belonging to the school.
