Health Education Committee

Objectives:

The aim of Health Education committee is to promote physical & mental health and help students lead a healthy lifestyle.

We arrange a wide variety of information and activities such as Sport Act Award Scheme, talks on nutrition by dietitians, information display boards, health related games and cross curricular activities.

Apart from this, we also help to formulate, implement and review safety measures to prevent communicable diseases.

We believe that students can benefit from our health information and activities that would certainly help them develop positive and healthy lifestyle.

2. Joyful Fruit Day and Game Day (1^st Term)

Joyful Fruit Day in the 1st school term is successfully held with the full support of the PTA, along with Fruit and Vegetables Game Day organized by the Health Ambassador.

3. Vegetable and Fruit Plating Contest

Vegetable and Fruit Plating Contest was successfully held on 8/12/2023, with huge support and participation from both students and teachers. The activity aimed to promote the understanding of nutrients from vegetables and fruit.

Family plays a crucial role in providing a healthy food environment and choosing nutritious meals. The event aims to promote parent-child interaction, strengthen communication between parents and children, and cook healthy and delicious meals together.

12. Healthy School Project Competition 2023-2024

Our school recently participated in the Healthy School Project Competition, organized by the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association.
The theme of the competition was “Healthy Lifestyle or Emotional Health”

Among the 31 participating teams, our school is honored to have achieved the second place in the Junior Division.

We will continue to make efforts to promote the health and well-being of all students in school.
