德雅中學於九月三日舉行了開學彌撒， 本校邀請了甘寶維神父到校主持開學彌撒。甘神父祝福大家在新的一年平安。新學年，本校的主題是「生命」，主説：「我是世界的光；跟隨我的，決不在黑暗中行走，必有生命之光。」（若望福音8:12）甘神父向我們分享了生命的意義──生命是天父賜予我們的，每個人生命裏都有不同的旅程，每天都有起有伏，有高有低。每人都需要遵守不同的規則，例如在校園裏，我們要遵守校規。甘神父讓我們明白，規則其實是為了讓我們過更理想、更有規律的生活。今年開學彌撒所選的福音是聖路加福音5:33-39，甘神父講道時，向我們解䆁耶穌運用新和舊的酒瓶來放酒的原因，藉此教導我們既要接受新事物，也要尊重舊事物，就像我們在學習上要不停地學習新知識，也需要重溫學過的知識，溫故才能知新。 4D 陳可懿
